Never Trust a Silent Toddler. . .

I know I'm not reaching out on a limb here to say that this is going to be an ongoing saga of posts on this subject!

Now, if you know anything about my Eli, you should know that he really isn't into TV- this is a good/bad thing. He might quietly watch a 2 minute snippet but normally he just ignores the TV all together. The other morning I turned on Sesame Street for Eli to "watch" and I went into my room to get on the computer for bit. I'm in my room for a few minutes and don't hear him out in the living room rummaging around, pushing his mower, or talking to himself. I stupidly think wow! he's actually watching it! And I continue to do my thing- check my FB, message boards, etc. Probably 5 minutes later I think he really couldn't be simply sitting there watching Elmo this long. . . So I sneak into the living room and much to my dismay I realize I had left the Parmesan cheese out on the table the night before- it is everywhere in the living room!! Floor, couch, in the clean clothes on the couch, TV, bookshelf, shoe basket, Sammy's exersaucer, and Sammy's face!!!!!! Oh my WORD!!! You should have seen it!!! I would have taken pictures but the camera batteries were in Rich's XBox 360 controller and the memory card was no where to be found. :(

I have been going through the archives and getting hungrier and hungrier with every post!! I keep thinking I should go make that! But then I see the next post and think no, I should make that!! I finally had to make myself say goodbye to that delicious blog before I gained 15 pounds just by reading it. Terrible blog!!

Anyway, so today Elijah kept on sneaking into our bedroom to get on the computer and I kept getting after him 'cause he knows he is not allowed on it. Well, one time I caught him and I decided to get on it myself to check my FB. Eli was standing next to me watching me when Mr. Sly excitedly exclaims "phone, mama! phone!" pointing to the other room in hopes that I would think my cell was ringing and run to the other room to get it, leaving computer unattended for him to get on. Ha, ha, Mr. Smarty mama knows your tricks! I was pretty amused that he could come up with something so tricky on his own though!! Man, this kid is far from stupid thats for sure!

I need some magical Creative Dust oh Fairies of All Things Creative!

Yeah, so I was super excited when Rich downloaded the Adobe Photoshop CS4 30 day trail for me. I had big plans. I was going to make an AMAZING header for this blog and get making siggys for myself and others on my iVillage message boards. I have made a few on Scrapblog.com and really enjoyed it- it is addicting even!! Supposedly you can do SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much more with PS (I would hope so- the full version only costs $999!!). Here are a few sigs I made for myself using Scrapblog:








I also made this blogs header.

Well, after spending about 4 hours messing around on PS I decided that I am far from being creative enough for it!!! If any of you have attempted to use PS, you know what I am talking about. I think I will stick with Scrapblog for now!!
